We do not want to even begin to talk about how scared we'd be to lose our little furry friends, but these stories of people somehow against all odds finding their lost pets are oh so heartwarming. 6 weeks is an excruciatingly long time to be without a loving cat. We can't even imagine the things that must have been running through this woman's head after nearly two months without seeing her sweet girl Velvet. Luckily this story does not have a solemn ending, the two somehow found each other again. And dang it is so sweet to hear.

Sorry if we're hyper-focusing, but 6 whole weeks! The two must have been meant to find each other, there's simply no other way. This is basically a love story.
